| Johnson Machine Works has extensive knowledge and experience in the design and fabrication of gates for hydroelectric industry as well as flood control and navigational waterways. Our work with fabricated water control gates began in the early 1940’s and has continued through today. Recent work has included four miter gates at the Montgomery Point L&D for the Little Rock District Army Corps of Engineers. Our fabrication team has completed five taintor gates for Tenkiller Dam in Oklahoma with the US ACOE Tulsa District as the customer. Simultaneously we fabricated eight taintor gates for the ACOE Little Rock District’s Table Rock Lake, delivered in 2002. Our experienced team of engineers, detailers and fabricators combine to enable JMW to meet the most demanding requirements. As an AISC certified fabricator with fracture critical endorsement, JMW is qualified to handle your fabrication needs. Our facilities include a vast array of tools to efficiently manage the project.
